I think he trumps Obama in the category of "change," too.

Careful, Tom. I went to school with Iggy from 8th grade through freshman year of college (at which juncture he launched his present career). He's just a reg'lar guy.

I get them waxed three days a week.

On April Fools Day some anti-globalists were planning on disrupting the bank across the street from my office. The facilities manager sent out an e-mail warning about the protest, called "spank the bank".

I really wanted to go over there and have the following conversation:

Me: What are you doing?

Hippie: We are shutting down the bank to protest global warming man.

Me: What do you call this activity?

Hippie: We are spanking the bank!

Me: Spanking the bank? Just remember, if you do it too much, you will grow hair on your palms and go blind.

Unfortunately, none of them showed up.

I'm really wondering about you, Rodak. Apparently, Mr. Pop really made an impression on you in the boys' locker room, as you once mentioned on a certain ethnic blog.

I've been around many a famous person myself, even worked for one for a few years (which, unlike you, I don't care to go into). Didn't shower with them, didn't vote for them (LOL) ....

Mr. Pop was just plain "Jim" to me, when I knew him. He was a nice guy--and very intelligent.

I still wonder from time to time, if you're not really Iggy, just using the name "Rodak" to slum it up among us mere mortals.

After all, Keith Richards is the most well-read among the Stones and has an extensive rare book collection that would make you gasp.

Mind singing a few bars of "China Girl"? (LOL)

If I'm Iggy what am I doing marooned here in fly-over territory?

Waiting for Bowie to free up some of those co-writing royalties?

I still prefer Zappa though ...

Zappa has the disadvantage of being dead. Bowie has the disadvantage of not being eligible. Iggy has it all.

Iggy also makes good childrens movies:

I actually took my nephew to see that one when he was little. His intro to Iggy, Pam Grier and Chevy Chase.

Whatever happened to Pam Grier?
