Reflections: Some Final Thoughts on the DNC and the Primaries

X
If the excuse for the extreme bias of the DNC against Bernie Sanders is, "he isn't really a Democrat," then they should not have allowed him to run as a Democrat. The truth is, they wanted him to run as a Democrat so that he could be defeated in the primaries and not be on the ballot in November.
Having lured him into the fold, the DNC then abandoned its proper role to work against Bernie Sanders and for Hillary Clinton. The proper role of the DNC would be to work to provide maximum exposure in the media and in live rallies, etc. for both candidates, so that the electorate would be able to make informed choices on which candidate to vote for in the primaries. The DNC, however, did everything it could to suppress the availability of Bernie Sanders to public exposure. This gave Hilllary, who already had name recognition by the ton, a huge advantage over Sanders, who was not well-known to the general public.
Despite this ruthless sabotage, Sanders raised his own money, drew huge crowds to his rallies and came very close to defeating the largely unpopular HRC, despite multiple polling place "irregularities" which allegedly worked in Clinton's favor.
Anybody who thinks the Democratic party's primary process was fair and honest is a dupe, or is in passive collusion with the fraud.
We don't need to be worrying about Russians fucking around with our elections in order to destroy our democracy when we have traitorous operatives for the globalist, criminal corporatocracy like Debbie Wasserman Schultz doing it already.

Rants: The Death of the Left -- Addendum

X
Last night the disgraceful corporate media utterly dissed Bernie Sanders by their combined failure to air his speech to his followers following his disastrous showing at the polls.

The corporate media have been in the bag for Hillary Inc. since day one; this was only slightly more blatant. Bernie is finished, so they can ignore him with total impunity.

It is noted that they provided wall-to-wall coverage of Marco Rubio's sad farewell speech.. Marco, you see, is a bench player for their team.

What a sorry shadow puppet extravaganza this whole political charade is again shown to be. Somewhere in Hell, old Joe Goebbels is applauding.

Rants: The Death of the Left -- Super Bluesday

X
 X
 8:00 p.m. ET -- 3/15/16

Early as it is, it's already obvious that Democratic voters today have opted to play it safe and just hope to hold onto whatever it is that they have left. This is so disheartening: the Prevent Defense. Hillary Clinton is of the ilk that put those of us in the necrotic middle where we are today. The future is now. And now sucks.

The GOP voters, by contrast, are opting to do-or-die. They've had it with their establishment and are willing to take a chance on change. The disastrous end they will bring about will at least be swift and dramatic; not the slow death the compliant Democrats have opted for.

To the oligarchs go the spoils. Nice going, Sheeple.

Reflections: Why Free College is an Empty Promise

X
How stupid I've been. It just this morning occurred to me why neither Bernie, nor anybody else, is ever going to provide a free four-year college education for all.
The reason is that without the promise of free college on the other side of military service, it would be impossible for the military to keep enlistment levels high enough to man the perpetual war and line the pockets of the oligarchs.
It would mean reinstating the draft--this time with girls being taken--and that would mean living the 'sixties all over again, and then some.
Free college: it ain't gonna happen.

Reflections: Hillary-Shrillary

 X
The ship of state is sinking and the passengers and crew are too busy squabbling among themselves to grab a can and start bailing.

When one can't criticize HRC's history and the policies that she's supported during and before her political career without being called a misogynist, the discourse is over.

The unavoidable perception is that Hillary's campaign, with its knee-jerk finger-pointing and labeling (one is tempted to use the "S-word" here) is creating more misogynistic sentiment than it is correctly identifying.

If she is the candidate, and if this continues, I predict that she won't win. Kiss the SCOTUS good-bye.

Rants: Hillary-Billary-Bop

Hillary is so high above me on the ladder of class privilege that I could see up her skirt...if she weren't wearing pants.

Hillary is about as progressive as a gold-laden Brinks truck on a wet dirt road.

2016
Trump is finished (yay)
and Bernie ain't gonna make it (aw):
The Oligarchs win again.
The American't Sheeple shuffle
on to the slaughter house:
the Shirts and the Skins,
both sides wearing
tri-color buttons
and shit-eating grins.

Reflections: Too Much of a Good Thing

There is a massive irony lodged in the gut of the American political system. The political left, one of the chief characteristics of which is a constant, strident call for more democracy, has, in national elections over the past fifty years, been repeatedly defeated by the very democratic impulse that it strives to nurture.

Over and over again, Democratic candidates, their surrogates and supporters, as well as liberal elements of the media, have pointed out to the American public that the men being put forward as presidential candidates by the Republican Party were just not bright enough for the job. Those same candidates have responded with Aw, shucks--just plain folks campaigns that have largely been successful. Candidates such as Eisenhower, Reagan, and Bush 43, have all worked this gimmick successfully, even though the results of their presidencies have shown the liberal message to have been both truthful and predictive. And now (amazingly enough) even McCain, the multimillionaire consort of a beer distributorship heiress and the son and grandson of Navy Admirals, seems to be utilizing this tactic successfully against the true “man of the people,” Barack Obama.

Obama’s sin is to have--against all odds--succeeded. By accomplishing more than could ever have been predicted for the mixed-race son of a single mom, Obama has left Joe Sixpack, Joe Lunchbucket, and Billy Joe McShmoe behind, trapped in their addictions and their entertainments, their consequentially meaningless lives, and their unrewarding series of dead-end jobs; has left them--yes--clinging to their guns and their flat-earth version of religion. Ah’m jist as good as you are, they drawl—knowing full well, deep down inside, where that last bucket of KFC is lodged, generating suet and bowel gas, that they ain’t. Not really. But, by Gawd, they can vote for the man (or babe) who tells them that they are.

The problem, ironically, is too much democracy. The Founding Fathers knew the danger. We have clearly forgotten it.
